Located in a beautifully converted banana warehouse in Covent Garden, our London research studios are designed to support a wide range of research activities, including UX testing, focus groups, playtesting, and co-creation sessions.

Each studio is thoughtfully equipped to facilitate both in-person and remote research, ensuring a seamless experience for moderators, participants, and observers alike.

Rooms are equipped with features to support creativity and collaboration, including floor-to-ceiling whiteboards, video conferencing facilities, and interactive touchscreen TVs – ideal for workshops, team sessions, and informal meetings.

How do I get to the studio and check-in?

Our full address is: 52 Shorts Gardens, London WC2H 9AN

The closest tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line) and Tottenham Court Road (Northern, Central, and Elizabeth Lines).

When you arrive, simply check in with our reception team. They’ll escort you to your room, assist with any technical needs, and point out where the goodies are!

What are your opening hours?

Our standard hours are:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Evening bookings are available — just let us know in advance via the booking form or by contacting the studio team. We’re also open on weekends by appointment.

Where can I park?

We recommend you travel via public transport to our studio. But if you want to drive in the closest public parking available the Intelli-Park, Parkers Mews.

Usability Testing Setup

Our usability setups are tailored to your project needs and typically include:

Session Recording: Audio and video recordings delivered next day.
Device Capture: Visualisers and Droidcast for mobile and tablet interactions.
Multi-Camera Studios: Configurable views for wide and close-up participant footage.
Web Stimuli Support: Studio PCs display websites for both participants and observers.
BYOD Integration: Bring your own device via HDMI for seamless recording and secure streaming.

Focus Group Setup

We provide flexible focus group environments including:

Room Layouts: Boardroom or sofa seating to suit different atmospheres.
Custom Environments: Child-friendly setups with toys, or minimalist spaces.
One-to-One Spaces: Two studios available for individual sessions.
Food & Drink Testing: Includes glassware, utensils, and test kitchen access.

Optional Features for Both Setups

Live Streaming: Secure, high-definition real-time viewing for remote stakeholders.
Multilingual Audio Support: Live interpretation with in-player language selection.

Do you offer catering? Can we bring our own?

You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. If you need anything refrigerating please speak to our studio team on the day.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes. We offer allergy-friendly meals, including:

  • Vegetarian
  • Nut- and sesame-free options

Please note: Our meat is not halal or kosher, but we offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Can I reserve a private space (e.g., for calls, prayer, or breastfeeding)?

We have limited private spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee a private space, please contact our team ahead of time to reserve it.

Can you help with printing, chargers, or adapters?

Yes! We can print unlimited A4 documents on the day. For larger print jobs, we need three days’ notice to coordinate with our local print shop. We also have spare chargers and adapters available for common devices.

We are more than happy to take in products in advance of your booking. Please speak with the studio team about this.

I left something behind — what do I do?

Get in touch with our studio team. If we’ve found your item, we’ll arrange a time for you to collect it.
